– Parish Council Meeting to be held on 2nd November 2021

A Meeting of Burton-cum-Walden Parish Council will be held in the Village Hall, West Burton, on Monday, 2nd November 2021 at 7.30 pm.

Members of the public are invited to address the Council between 7.30 and 7.45 pm at the discretion of the Council.


  1. To receive apologies for absence
  2. To receive declarations of interest.
  3. To confirm the minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on 5 October 2021
  4. To receive a report from the Clerk on the following matters:
    • Arrangements for Bonfire Night
    • Arrangements for the Christmas event
    • Plinths at the entrance to the village
    • Road safety on the B6160
    • Registration of land owned by the Council
  5. To confirm the setting of the Precept
  6. To receive a report from the Clerk on the pruning of the cherry tree on the Village Green
  7. To consider the state of the Walden roads
  8. To receive the following invoices for payment:
    • Parish Caretaker – to be confirmed
    • J W Alderson & Sons – to be confirmed
    • Office Depot – £137.53 (VAT £22.92)
    • Renewal of the Council’s domain name – £3.99
  9. To receive notice of meetings and other events.
  10. To consider items for the next agenda.
